A New York native, Rosanne Catalano (aka RC Kayla) is an indie author, a writer (of short stories, poetry, and nonfiction articles), a former publisher of two literary magazines (titled 'The Cat's Meow for Writers & Readers' and 'Literary Voices'), a part-time pet sitter, an amateur photographer, and an advocate who lives in Florida.

Rosanne's writing journey began at age eight when her third-grade teacher loved the short stories she wrote for 'extra credit' due to her failing in mathematics. Her teacher would read aloud her stories to the class, and her classmates would encourage Rosanne to write more stories for their enjoyment. And so she passed arithmetic that year.

She looks forward to writing here when she's not pet-sitting, working on her next book (a novel-length story tentatively titled 'Escape & Redemption'), taking pictures, and advocating for justice.
